What is support Coordination

Support coordination helps you to make the best use of your supports in plan. Support coordination is a capacity building support which helps you to: Understand and use you NDIS plan to pursue your goals Connect you with NDIS providers, community, mainstream and other government services Build your confidence and skills to use and coordinate your supports. How our support coordinator can help you

In addition to the assistance offered by family, friends, and other community and government services, your financing is based on what is'reasonable and essential' to fulfill your goals. Support coordination shall be included in the Capacity Building budget when it is feasible and essential. This is a set fee for a support coordinator to assist you in utilizing your plan. If your plan specifies (or'states') the degree of support coordination that is funded, you can only purchase that level. If your plan does not specify the degree of support coordination that is covered, you can opt to purchase the level that best meets your needs.

What are the benefits of using a Plan Management service?

You have greater choice and control when you use an NDIS plan manager, as you can pick any NDIS provider, not only those that are registered. This means you'll have a larger pool of providers to select from, allowing you to seek help from someone who best fits your requirements. It can be challenging to submit and handle claims with the NDIS. There is a lot of complicated coding that might be difficult to understand. Our NDIS plan managers have the skills and experience necessary to successfully handle this process.

How much does it cost?

The good news is that it is completely free. Plan management is aided by the NDIA, which adds extra cash to your plan to meet the expense. There will be no out-of-pocket expenses, and no funds will be withdrawn from your existing NDIS plan. In the NDIS price guide, you can learn more about plan management financing.
